Hello, 

My name is Diana Bowman. I am an avid aviation enthusiast, historian and writer originally from Canberra, Australia. 

 

The story of Flight 11 has always captured my interest and intrigue since I came across the Continental Flight 11 blog by Mr Andrew Russell, who’s writing and campaigning along with others helped to bring about the memorial to the tragedy in Unionville, Missouri. My aim with his book and website/online memorial is to not only create a comprehensive breakdown of the timeline of events, but also an analysis on the personal, technical, psychological and criminal aspects of the case including the persons involved and events related to the crash. The Flight 11 website is to accompany the upcoming novel (which I am hoping to release hopefully by the middle to end of 2025) but to also serve as a memorial to the 44 innocent lives that were cut short that stormy night in May of 1962.
